Teacher Steve (Stephen Green) is an activity-based English instructor who believes learning should be active, fun, and built around each child’s own interests. Over 4 years teaching children’s English across Asia — 3.5 years in Thailand, 6 months in China, and a volunteer stint in Cambodia — he’s developed a teaching style built on humor, energy, and lessons designed specifically around the age and interests of his students.

His classroom experience runs deep: 18 months at Denla Kindergarten, another 18 months at language training schools, time at Wat Rakhang Girls’ High School, and 2 years teaching Chinese students online. Before stepping into the classroom, Steve spent 7 years as a combat medic in the British Army, including 5 operational tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and served as his unit’s Physical Training Instructor (PTI) — experience that shows up today in his calm, disciplined, high-energy approach to every activity he leads.

An avid traveler who’s explored Europe, Australia, and parts of Asia, Steve brings a genuine curiosity about the world into his classroom, helping children see English not as a subject to study, but as a tool for adventure.
