Ajarn Direk Naksuk is an accomplished Thai artist and ceramics master with a career spanning fine art, higher education, and children’s art education. A recipient of the prestigious Narisara Nuwattiwong Scholarship, he also won 1st Prize in Traditional Thai Painting at the College of Fine Arts and received Thailand’s Outstanding National Ceramics Award — honors that place him among the country’s most respected ceramic artists.

Ajarn Direk previously lectured at Rangsit University and is the founder of Banngandin (“House of Clay”), his own ceramics studio, where he continues to create and teach. He has brought that same expertise into the classroom at several respected international schools, including Magic Years International School, Kidz Village International Kindergarten, and Denla International Kindergarten Phra Ram 5 — helping children discover the joy of working with clay and the beauty of Thai art traditions from an early age.
