Kru Poo Gun

Classically Trained Dancer & Professional Choreographer

Kru Poo Gun (Chanakan Tankulrat) brings a rare mix of classical training and real entertainment-industry experience to every dance class. She studied Thai classical dance (Lakhon Nang, a traditional female-role dance-drama style) at the Bangkok College of Dramatic Arts, then went on to earn her degree in Art Education from the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute under the Ministry of Culture — training that gives her a deep, technical foundation in both Thai classical dance and dance teaching.

Beyond the classroom, Kru Poo Gun has built an impressive career as a professional dancer and choreographer. She has performed as a backup dancer and appeared in music videos for artists including DJ Bangkok Invader, DJ Honey G, and DJ VEYAA (performing in Malaysia), danced for popular Thai singer Ying Lee Srichumpol, choreographed dance scenes for the hit TV drama “Songkram Ruk” on Channel One, and performed at major events including King Power Football 2017 and GMM Grammy’s “Troop Hero” street dance series.

She’s also a familiar face in Bangkok’s fitness and dance-teaching scene, having taught at Hampton International Pre-School Sathorn, Assumption Thonburi School, 111 Triple One Bangkok Studio, Fit Factory (STOU), Panya Sports Complex, and O2 Fitness Rama 3 — plus coaching choreography for Mr. Bear Bangkok pageant contestants.

With real stage and screen credits behind her and genuine warmth in the classroom, Kru Poo Gun turns every class into a chance for kids to move, laugh, and build confidence like a true performer.
